After struggling with weight, body image, and self-esteem issues for decades, I set out to find a lasting solution. Having weighed double my current body weight at one time, faced health challenges, injuries, and striving for the fine balance of family, career, and taking care of myself, I developed my multi-faceted approach. My unique skill set encompasses being a Certified Eating Psychology Coach, a Certified Level 1 & 2 Precision Nutrition Coach, and ACE Personal Trainer. I offer body image help, support and guidance along with the tools needed to make lasting change. About My Training

I trained at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the world’s leading school in Nutritional Psychology where I received my certification as an Eating Psychology Coach. In IPE’s internationally acclaimed program, I learned powerful cutting-edge tools and protocols that enable me to work with weight issues, body image challenges, overeating, binge eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, and others. My work combines the powerful new fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind-Body Nutrition. The skills I use from this training are a combination of practical coaching techniques, results-oriented psychology, clinical nutrition, body-centered practices, mind-body science, and a positive and compassionate approach to challenges with food and health. In addition, as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, my training meets a standard accepted by other leaders in the healthcare industry. This training is built on the foundation of the ACE Integrated Fitness Training Model, created to help me deliver the type of individualized programs needed to adopt long-term, healthy behaviors. These achievements coupled with my ongoing continued education through Precision Nutrition enables me to offer unique tools and strategies to bridge the gap between “knowing” and “doing” what is necessary to establish and maintain life balance: Psychology + Fitness + Nutrition = Long Term Success!

How is My Approach Different?

In today’s society, we’ve been inundated with negative messages about food, weight, and diet. We’re labeled willpower weaklings who need more control. If you’re left feeling confused about what to eat and how to have a healthy and happy relationship with food, you’re not alone. I’ve combined many of the best strategies from eating psychology, nutrition science, and behavior change practices to change my life. I no longer “should” on myself and instead focus on what’s right for my body and personal style. Rather than viewing my challenges as the enemy, I embrace them as opportunities for growth and self-improvement. I feel so passionate about what I’ve learned I was compelled to shift my professional focus to share my experience. In my training at the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, Precision Nutrition, and American Council on Exercise, I’ve learned to provide body image help to my clients, enabling them to reach their highest goals, not by strategies that punish, but through strategies that nourish.
